The Pink Ladies Volunteer Corps at a Glance
A Bit of Background and How to get involved
The Pink Ladies Volunteer Corps was established in 1980 by Olive Miller MBE and Evelyn Andresen, as a soriority of ladies banded together to care for the ill, the aged and the children in the Cayman community. These principles still guide our organisation today and over the years we have donated more than $2,000,000 to The Pines Retirement Home, NCVO Children Services, Lighthouse School, Health Services Authority, Special Olympics, YMCA, Inclusion Cayman, Cayman Islands Hospital, Cayman's ARK and many other deserving causes.
Some of the ways you can get involved are:-
Monthly afternoon tea for Jasmine HospiceCare, providing companionship and a fun time playing bingo, doing puzzles and other activities.
Water Station at the Cancer Stride Run/Walk
Chamber of Commerce Earth Day clean up
Older Persons Month celebration tea party
The Pines Retirement Home birthday party
Pink Ladies Fashion Show
Pink Ladies Christmas Bazaar
